Music Road Resort Hotel

Music Road Resort is hidden away just a short distance off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. You’ll find it a block behind the Sunliner Diner.

This waterpark does not quite live up to the standards of the others mentioned in this post. It is more aptly described as a pool with a waterslide. However, the pool is large and pretty, and a covered area offers shade from the sun.

There are also two nice indoor pools.

Rooms at the Music Road Resort offer a variety of options, including rooms with king or queen beds, suites, fireplaces, river-view rooms, family suites, and honeymoon suites.

Pro Tip

The Music Road Resort Hotel is across the street from the Music Road Inn. They are part of the same resort, but there are a few differences. Guests at each hotel have full access to the waterparks. However, while the water parks are located at the hotel, the inn features a pool designed primarily for small children.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which hotel should I choose? Here are some things to consider…
    • Music Road Resort is the most convenient to restaurants, attractions, and shopping, but its water parks are the least impressive.
    • Country Cascades Waterpark is also conveniently located, and its waterparks are very nice.
    • Wilderness at the Smokies and The Resort at Governors Crossing both feature spectacular water parks. Still, they are not as conveniently located, especially Wilderness at the Smokies (although it also has a golf course).
    • Wild Bear Falls at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort also has a fantastic water park, with a retractable roof! It’s the closest of these hotels to the national park, but it’s also two miles from Gatlinburg and six miles from Pigeon Forge. However, it is the only one of these hotels that is pet-friendly.
